Tasty Arisi Upma
Upma is a mild food and can be had anyone by all the age group people. In this lockdown because of shortage of some of items we can try making rice upma which is very easy to prepare and taste yum!!!
Let's start preparing Arisi Upma...
Rice - 1 cup
Oil - 2 tbsp
mustard - 1 tbsp
channa dal - 1 tbsp
splitted urad dal - 1 tbsp
curry leaves - few
Onion - 1 small
Salt for taste
Coconut for tampering
Water - 2.5 cup
In a pan fry the rice till it changes the colour.Let it cool down then grind it to rava form.
In a pressure pan add oil ,once it is hot add mustard ,curry leaves , channa dal and urad dal.Let it splutter then add onion and stir fry it.
Add water and salt.Let it come to boil add the grinded rice and mix it gently so that no lump is formed.
Add fresh grated coconut and cook it low flame for 10 mins.
Arisi upma is ready to serve.
