Dhaba Style Paneer Butter Masala

My daughter like paneer very much.I usually make paneer toast but to kids if you give same style of food they will be bored.so thought of making different...there comes the idea of making paneer butter masala.when both paneer and butter are homemade then the taste is heavenly. We can't define it... NOTE:

INGREDIENTS FOR PANEER BUTTER MASALA

  • Homemade paneer - 1 cup

  • Butter - 1/2 cup

  • Besan - 1 tbsp

  • Ghee - 2 tbsp

  • Cumin seeds -1 tbsp

  • Cumin seeds -1 tbsp

  • Cinnamon - small piece

  • Cloves - 2 nos

  • Bay leave - 1 no

  • Chopped onion -1 no (big)

  • Mashed tomato - 1 no (big)

  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp

  • Turmeric - 1 1/2 tbsp

  • Chilli powder- 2 tbsp

  • Coriander powder- 2 tbsp

  • Garam masala- 1 tbsp

  • Chat masala- 1tbsp

  • Kashmiri chilli - 1 tbsp

  • Fresh cream - 2 tbsp

  • Chat masala- 1 tbsp tbsp

  • Green chilly- 2 nos

  • Kastoori methi - 1 tbsp

  • Fresh coriander leaves -few


INSTRUCTIONS:

  • In a bowl add paneer and 1/2 turmeric,1 chilli,1 coriander,1/2 garam masala, 1 chat masala, 1 Kashmiri masala and mix it well with little water.



  • In a pressure pan add besan add stir fry for 2 mins and keep it aside.



  • In the same pan add butter and paneer stir fry it and keep it aside.



  • In the same pan add butter and ghee,once hot add cumin seeds and all spices let it splutter add onion and saute till golden brown add ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes off.



  • Add all the remaining masalas and cook in the oil so that the masala gets cooked.Now add the tomato puree and mix it well.add green chilly and cook it.



  • Add fresh cream and cook for 5 mins.Now add water as per consistency once it boils add paneer and cook for another 5 mins.Finally add kastoori methi and done.Add coriander leaves and serve it hot.



  • Paneer butter masala with ghee steamed roti and chilli pickle.
