Kulipaniyaram is a ball sized dumpling made with fermented urad dal and rice batter.This is one of the everyday breakfast for south Indian cuisine.Here we will prepare with keto dosa mix to make it keto friendly.






Soft kulipaniyaram with keto dosa mix

INGREDIENTS FOR KULIPANIYARAM AND COCONUT CHUTNEY


  • keto dosa mix - 3 tbsp

  • Salt - 1 tsp

  • Baking soda - 1 pinch

  • onion - small

  • curry leave - few

  • Fresh grated coconut - 1/2 cup

  • green chilli - 3 nos

  • ginger - small piece

  • coconut oil - required for tadka

  • mustard seeds - few

  • dry chilli - few

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • In a bowl add keto dosa mix, salt baking soda, chopped onion and curry leave.

  • Add water as required to make it a dosa like batter.

  • Give it a nice blend and your batter should be ready.

  • keep it aside for 10 mins or so.

  • After 10 to 15 mins pour the batter in the kulipaniyaram pan and pour some ghee over the batter.

  • Let it cook in low to medium heat , flip it to other side then wait for few mins.

  • Your keto kulipaniyaram is ready.

  • Keto kulipaniyaram is best served with coconut chutney.

  • In a mixi jar add fresh grated coconut , green chilli, ginger , curry leaves and salt.Add water and grind it to little coarse form.

  • Transfer it in bowl. In a tadka pan add coconut oil ,once the oil is hot add mustard seeds,curry leaves and dry chilli.Add the tadka to the chutney.Chutney is ready.
